MW's EOTD and L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim Review

Whirlers!

New purchases from Superdrug:
Sleek Oh So Special Palette
Sleek Face Form Blush Contour Kit in Dark
L'Oreal Super Liner Perfect Slim in Intense Black
MUA Bronzer in Shade 2

And this is what I came up with:
I used: Gateau, Celebrate and Noir from the Oh So Special Palette, the L'Oreal Super Liner, the MUA Bronzer in Shade 2 and the Sleek Face Form Blush Contour Kit.

Foundation: Christian Dior ForeverSkin in Medium Beige 030
Concealer: Christian Dior DiorSkin Sculpt in Medium
Mascara: L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes
Eyeshadow Primer: UDPP
Eyebrows: HD Brows
Lipgloss: Lancome Juicy Tube in Blackcurrant
Scarf: F21
Pussybow Blouse: Primark

Also, I have to say, I was in the garden all afternoon and my eyeliner/eyeshadow didn`t melt off, which was really impressive especially with this current heatwave!!

Doodling with the Perfect Slim Pen on my hand.

When it comes to eyeliners, I like the line to be thin and precise, which was definitely something achievable with this pen as you can see how thin the nib was, and at £6.49, I think its a great buy. The wear is fabulous, it didn`t smudge very easily, nor did it melt off in the heat, it wasn`t removable very easily with just water, but came off smoothly with face wash. The only downfall to this pen, in my opinion, was the lid. The lid wasn`t very secure, so I think I would have doubts to carry this pen in my make up bag, just in case the lid came off and leaked/ruined my other make up products and dried out quickly. Which is a shame, as I carry only a few items in my make up bag, and an eyeliner is definitely one. It would have been great if I could have the confidence of a secure lid in my make up bag with this eyeliner. So, I`ll have to apply at home and leave it at home and use a different liner to touch up if I have to. :(

So, L'Oreal, if you`re reading this, PLEASSSEEEE, make the lid more secure, and I will definitely repurchase this eyeliner, as everything else is perfect!!!

What do you guys think of my FOTD? Do you have the same palette? Which colour combo's have you tried?

And, my beloved eyeliner, have you purchased it? What did you like about it? Did you also have a problem with the lid? Or, was mine just a manufacturing error?

Last week, I met up with a few #bbloggers and obviously the company was amazing so the day was so much fun!

MW's Hijabi Threads Review

Hello Belle Whirlers,

Insha`Allah everyone is well.

I came across this hijab store on Facebook, and it was during their 'OMGosh Offer' which was buy 2 hijabs for £10 or 3 hijabs for £13, so I thought, why not give them a go? Their hijabs looked really nice and one of the scarves appeared to be the perfect match of brown to a maxi dress of mine. So, I was sold, especially with such a bargain at the moment.
This offer can only be done via emailing their account, so I emailed them the three that took my fancy, also asking a question in regards to the size of the hijabs, and to my delight the servicing was very prompt and personal.

Also, another thing which made me draw to them, is that their delivery is free in the UK, which I think is great and is definitely an advantage to their business compared to other hijab businesses out there at the moment.

I ordered on a Saturday, paid by PayPal, which is the safest option in my opinion, and it was with me by Tuesday! So, not only is the delivery free, its also ridiculously prompt!! It came in a red bag, with heart stickers on it, adding the personal touch.

Again, another personal touch, showing that they put time and effort into their products to leave their customers satisfied, they even handwrite a cute little note!! I love that! I actually carefully peeled the stickers off and added it to the cover of my moleskine because they were that cute, hehe.

These are the three I ordered: the lacey dot hijab, the safari mix and the black paisley hijab. The two black ones are oversized, whilst the safari one is normal size, but as you can see in a previous post, it provides more than enough coverage.

Review:
I thought the hijabs were great.
Large enough for chest coverage.
They`re also really a really soft material, which is great.

Insha`Allah, this business continue to be successful and grow, so do check them out on:

MW's Baking Time: Macarons

Whirlers <3

Sooo, I made macarons for the first time the other week, and I had to share because I was absolutely surprised that the outcome was half decent.
I kept it boring for the first attempt and just left it at vanilla flavour, because I didn`t want to overwhelm myself lol.
You`re supposed to let a skin form, once you`ve put the mixture onto the baking tray, but I was impatient and only waited 10 minutes, when you were supposed to leave it for 60 minutes. Whoops. But, thats why it didn`t come out perfect :(

BUT, IMPORTANTLY, THEY TASTED NOM!!

This was the final outcome:

Have any of you guys made macarons? What would you recommend for colour/flavourings when I make my next batch?

This is what I wore to the Registry: a black maxi dress, khaki cropped jacket, a skinny waist belt, nude heels and a black scarf.
When it was time for the girls to catch the bouquet! Look at me at the front! Nobody was getting past me!!
Cute!
So happy lol. And, then we were told off for taking photos here.
